Inspired and sincere dance beat, expertly executed Autotuning intertwining seamlessly with the Guetta's vocals, misogynist not only in name but in lyric as well, the latest single from David Guetta and Akon is perhaps the greatest masterpiece that has ever graced my ears. This is the voice of our generation-
no, not only of our generation. This is the defining song of mankind itself. From Akon's desperate struggle over "tryna find the words to describe this girl without being disrespectful" to man's universal desire to "stop what I'm doin so I can pull up close" to a woman who can only be described as Venus incarnate, this song explores the deeper themes of mankind: the inexpressibility of love, and our eternal struggle against our envious self, as evidenced by the line "Cause every girl in here wonna be her". Guetta and Akon even go so far as to explore the evolution of art through history, alluding to such great works as Shakespeare. From Akon's line, "Nothing you can compare to your neighbourhood hoe", the listener's mind cannot help but conjure up images of Shakespeare's famous sonnet. This allusion to a man who has had arguably the greatest impact on the art of the English language, Guetta and Akon take their rightful place alongside him. They ultimately tie in past with present in an ethereal and flawless manner.
